We have two dental tables at Panther Creek, and the Nomad Examiner allows us to perform dental x-rays at each station without having a cumbersome wall or ceiling mounted x-ray unit at each table.
We are able to take a lateral and an anterior-posterior (AP) x-ray film of the knee from a standing position (without any sedation). We would be unable to take the AP on our standard x-ray machine without anesthesia, so the NOMAD makes it a lot easier and quicker and with no sedation or anesthesia.
