kitten vaccines

FVRCP-C  -   An all-in-one vaccination that helps protect them from feline respiratory diseases such as Rhinotracheitis and Calici virus, as well as Panleukopenia, which is known as distemper. These are highly contagious viruses, which are easily transmitted between cats and can be fatal.  This vaccine also protects the pet from Chlamydia, which could cause respiratory difficulties for years.

Kitten will receive one vaccine plus two boosters three weeks apart-

As an ADULT cat- Once the kitten has received three FVRCP-C vaccines- the cat will receive a two year FVRCP-C at the first annual visit.

FELINE LEUKEMIA- Feline Leukemia can be transmitted between infected cats by the transfer of saliva and close contact, by biting another cat, through a litter box and from milk during nursing. Transmission can also take place from an infected mother cat to her kittens.

Kitten will receive one vaccine plus two boosters three weeks apart-

As an ADULT cat- Once the kitten has received three FELEUK vaccines, the cat will receive this vaccine annually.  If the cat is indoors only, and never has contact with other outdoor cats, the owner can opt out of this vaccine at the first annual visit.

RABIES VACCINE- This is a state mandated vaccine- The Rabies Vaccine is given when the kitten is about 14-16 weeks of age and annually thereafter.
