Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists is an organization of six closely interacting veterinary referral practices in Houston, Texas. Our goal is to provide veterinarians the opportunity to incorporate advanced diagnostic training , sophisticated equipment, and the expertise of veterinary specialists into their general practices. We function solely as an extension of general practices and maintain a close working relationship with family veterinarians and 24-hour patient care is provided for our hospitalized patients. A "team approach" is used among our specialists and the family veterinarian to provide state-of-the-art veterinary care.Patients are accepted only by referral from your veterinarian.

Small Animal Clinic, College of Veterinary Medicine, Texas A&M University

The Department of Veterinary Small Animal Clinical Sciences has three major missions: education, patient care, and scholarship. Each of these activities is intended to improve the quality of life for companion animals and their owners. Approximately, 14,500 animals are presented to the Small Animal Clinic for advanced diagnostic procedures and state-of-the-art treatment methods. Faculty, staff, and fourth-year students participate as a team in the care of these patients. Many of these patients are referred from veterinarians throughout Texas and the region, so that they may receive the benefits of the unique expertise and diagnostic and therapeutic technology offered by the Small Animal Clinic. Patients are accepted only by referral from your veterinarian.

Southwest Veterinary Dermatology

As a board-certified Veterinary Dermatologist, Dr. Colombini Osborn specializes in the treatment of skin and ear conditions of dogs and cats, including allergies, parasites of the skin and ears, infectious diseases, chronic or recurrent ear infections, autoimmune skin diseases, endocrine or hormonal imbalances and some types of skin cancer. Appointments are by referral only from your veterinarian.
